Referrals are available for specialty services. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discounted Prescription Drugs Ask a staff member about our special discounts that are available to assist you with your prescription cost. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Family Planning Family planning and counseling includes the availability of a full range of birth control methods, pregnancy testing, STD screenings including HIV. All testing is confidential. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internal Medicine Full range of adult medical services with both in-patient and out-patient services. Adults can receive screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, lead, HIV counseling, testing and cancer. MCHC participates in a Health Disparities Collaborative through the United States Department of Health and Human Resources (HRSA), with a focus on new ways of improving the delivery of health care for our diabetic patients, including group visits and education. Referrals for: Hospice Care, Mental Health Counseling, Specialist Service and Housing Assistance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIV Counseling and Testing Our primary care professionals include Case Managers that are available to meet all your daily needs including prescription and housing assistance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mobile Health Van Provides Dental services and participates in community outreach and education. if you would like to invite our van to your event, please contact Deborah Troncone, Director of Nursing at 845-343-7614 x4368. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nephrology Nephrology services, including diagnostics and treatment are available with on-site Nephrologist. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrition Nutrition counseling is offered by a Registered Dietician for many therapeutic diets as well as for pregnant women in our PCAP Program. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obstetrics/Gynecology MCHC offers quality obstetrical care for our moms-to-be. Our Women's Health Providers include OB/GYN doctors, Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners. Our Medical Staff is on-call 24/7 to ensure all your prenatal needs are met. Gynecological services such as pelvic exams, PAP smears, breast exams, colposcopy, and cryosurgery procedures are all available at our OB/GYN locations. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pediatrics Complete pediatric services, 24/7 including coverage at Orange Regional Medical Center. Well and Sick Child Visits. School, Sports, Camp, and W.I.C. Physicals. Referral for Pediatric Specialty Services available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Podiatry Specialized Podiatry services are provided with on-site Podiatrists, including education, diagnosis, and treatment related to foot care. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Social Work MCHC offers Social Work Services and substance abuse counseling, testing and referral in an effort to enhance the medical services provided. Services include domestic violence and rape intervention, substance use/abuse education and referral. Educational presentations for schools and organizations and referrals for mental health, housing and food assistance, adult home care, community support groups and early intervention are also available. Confidential Support Groups for HIV affected and infected persons are available throughout the year and include informational discussions and incentives for attendance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Translation Services Because we are part of a diverse community, MCHC has Bi-lingual staff that can assist our healthcare team when necessary. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- School Based Health Center We provide Pediatric and Adult Medicine Primary Care on- site services to the students and adults at Orange Ulster BOCES, with a full-time provider on-site. Services include immunizations, well and sick child exams and physicals and referrals. |
